Celebrate the 2025 CBC – Birds & Beer with SFVAS

The Christmas Bird Count is one of the world’s oldest and longest-running civic science efforts. You are welcome to join us on the 126th annual CBC and get together after to share data, stories, food and drink (CBC participation not required!). The after-CBC celebration at Best Ball Bar – Woodley Lakes Golf Course begins at 4:30 with appetizers and no-host bar.

Best Ball Bar at Woodley Lakes Golf Course: 6331 Woodley Avenue, Van Nuys, CA 91406. You need to turn west on “Lake Balboa” – not sure there is a sign there. It is 2 drives south of the Orange (G) line and tricky to find in the dark.
