Since the beginning of time, SFVAS has been holding an annual Conservation Award Banquet at which an award has been presented to an outstanding member of the community who has acted selflessly and consistently on behalf of wildlife by providing significant benefit to natural habitats within out territory. Now we are making a change. The Banquet is being replaced with a Luncheon (see below), but our tradition of showing appreciation will continue. At the first annual Conservation Award Luncheon we will be recognizing Alan Pollack for his many years of volunteer service building bird houses, rehabilitating injured wildlife, and providing valuable wildlife habitat in our yards, schools and churches. Please come to our Luncheon and learn more about the work Alan has been doing and show your appreciation for the impact he has made on our community.
