The City of Los Angeles manages the extensive day-use facilities, including golf and riding stables, which are available at this site in the San Fernando Valley. Hansen Dam Aquatic Center is a 40-acre water recreation facility located on the northwest side of the Hansen Dam Recreation Area in Lakeview Terrace, California (approximately 25 miles north of downtown Los Angeles). The facility includes a 9-acre recreation lake and a 1.5-acre swimming lake.The facility has 50 public restrooms, 20 dressing rooms, 25 showers, and several picnic areas.
