Thank You for Supporting Birdathon

Birdathon Donations

A direct donation is the most immediate and simple way to support SFVAS programs and ensure our 2026 Birdathon reaches its fundraising goals.

  • One-Time Gift: Enter an amount to donate today – supporting the team(s) of your choice or one gift for the entire appeal. Every dollar goes directly toward the San Fernando Valley Audubon Society’s mission and particularly to support our Sepulveda Basin Environmental Education program.
  • Tax-Deductibility: The California Audubon Society dba San Fernando Valley Audubon Society is an Internal Revenue Code §501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation with Tax ID (EIN) 95-1856339, all donations are deductible to the extent allowed by law. No goods or services were received in exchange for your donation.

Birdathon Pledges

A pledge is a high-stakes, exciting way to support our teams! By pledging a specific dollar amount per species identified, you turn every bird spotted into direct funding for our conservation and education efforts.

  • How it Works: Choose one or more teams and pledge an amount for each unique species they identify during their Birdathon 2026 event.
  • The Impact: Pledging creates a “bonus” incentive for our volunteers to find as many species as possible.
  • Post-Event: We will contact you with the final species count and your total contribution amount. You can then fulfill your pledge using our secure form.
