On April 11th, members and friends gathered for a Beginner Bird Walk through the Sepulveda Basin, one of the San Fernando Valley’s most remarkable urban wildlife refuges.
These walks offer the perfect introduction to birding. No experience necessary, just curiosity and a willingness to slow down and observe the natural world around us. Whether you’re picking up binoculars for the first time or simply looking for a peaceful morning outdoors, our Beginner Bird Walks welcome everyone.
Check our Events Calendar to find upcoming walks and join us in discovering the incredible diversity of birds that call the Sepulveda Basin home.
