In Person/Zoom Event: Raptor Behaviors

Frank Hoffman will give us a presentation on courtship behavior among birds of prey as well as other interesting raptor behaviors. Along with a slide presentation, he will be bringing live raptors to the meeting. This is your opportunity to meet some of these beautiful birds in person Feel free to bring your cameras!

As the Recreation Services Supervisor at Placerita Canyon Natural Area, naturalist Frank Hoffman loves to share his enthusiasm for birds and their habitats. He has worked for the Los Angeles County of Parks and Recreation for over 30 years In addition, he is a Master Falconer and an officer of the California Hawking Club which is active in the conservation of raptors, and in educating the public about these remarkable birds.
