Great news! San Fernando Valley Audubon Society (SFVAS) is honored to announce that we have been selected as California Senate District 27’s Nonprofit of the Year for 2026! Thank you California State Senator Henry Stern for recognizing our chapter with this award. SFVAS is a chapter of the National Audubon Society, and has been incorporated since 1906 as the California Audubon Society. Our mission includes protection of birds and our shared environment through action, advocacy and education – and we value the support of Sen. Stern in these conservation efforts.
